Most of the work is one spreadsheet of students, stops, buses and drivers. Once that is in, routes can be planned and the buses can run.
Can one company run several schools?
Yes. The School Bus Tracker is built for many schools: each one has its own panel, routes and families, kept apart from the others.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Arabic, French and Spanish, including right-to-left layouts for Arabic.
What happens when a child is absent?
A parent marks it in the app. The driver knows not to wait at that stop, and the school can see it too.

How do parents get an account?
The school creates it when it adds the child, and gives the parents their sign-in details.
Can families without a smartphone be told anything?
Yes. A family the system cannot reach on a phone or in a browser is sent the same message by email.
Can a family see other children on the bus?
No. A family only ever sees their own children, and only their own child's stop is named.
Who can start a bus run?
Only the driver assigned to that run.
