Bus attendants on record
The second adult on the bus, on record, and shown to the families who ride with them.
In short
The School Bus Tracker records the attendant on each bus alongside the driver. Families see who the attendant is on their child's screen, and the school can answer the question every school is asked after an incident: who was on the bus?
Who was on board
Each bus can carry an attendant as well as a driver. The family's Today screen shows the bus, the driver and the attendant for the morning and the afternoon.
Only the school edits a bus
A bus, and who travels on it, can only be changed by the school it belongs to.
Questions about bus attendants on record
Is an attendant required?
No. A bus without an attendant works exactly the same; the attendant is recorded where there is one.
